Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse Nurse (RN) position available in the adult psychiatric unit at a healthcare facility in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized mental health care on a night shift basis, with several openings available. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience, current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or MOAB, and Iowa or Compact licensure. Local candidates residing within 60 miles are not eligible.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (Iowa or Compact licensure), at least 2 years of experience, certifications in BLS and CPI/MOAB, located in Iowa or holding a Compact license, no local candidates within 60 miles.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: The unit is an adult psychiatry unit with a state-of-the-art design featuring private rooms, natural light, open nurses station, and integrated technology. The team utilizes evidence-based, patient-centered, interdisciplinary care, including modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care.
