Senior Supervisor Production

Abbott seeks a Senior Production Supervisor for its Portland, OR manufacturing facility to lead day-shift operations and oversee production teams. The role focuses on achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives through effective team management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing operators and technicians across diverse processes to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
• Direct day-to-day shift operations including training, labor allocation, material flow, scheduling, and change management
• Monitor performance metrics and visual management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure product quality standards and regulatory compliance through standard work implementation and staff training
• Lead cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives to improve throughput and long-term manufacturing performance

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher
• Minimum 7 years supervisory experience in regulated, multi-product manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees
• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Organizational, planning, and follow-up skills with multi-task management capability
• Proven track record leading projects that improve production results

Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
