Study Facilitator

Study Facilitator Description/Responsibilities Facilitate and conduct in‑person user study data collection with high attention to detail Document study session issues Manage scheduling and recruitment of user study participants Setup and break down study session areas. Lead in‑person study sessions. Engage with participants and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication Ensure appropriate participant compliance with relevant study protocols Provide study progress updates, validate the fidelity of captured data, and proactively raise any study‑related issues and challenges that may arise Prepare, troubleshoot, and maintain study‑specific equipment/devices for data collection efforts Gather data and logs from test devices by using SSH/terminal/command line, installing software, and troubleshooting HW/SW on consumer electronics such as Phone/Mac/watch/AirPods interfaces Assist with plot generation, status updates, and cleanup Distribute surveys, review and collate survey responses and other feedback Key Qualifications Basic understanding of Terminal/command line, installing software, and troubleshooting issues that arise, and knowledge of iPhone/Mac interfaces Basic understanding of troubleshooting methodology HW/SW isolation on consumer electronics High attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proactiveness in identifying, resolving, and communicating challenges that may arise Ability to work in teams with a strong desire to contribute Experience using SSH to interact with another device or server is a plus Experience in conducting empirical or human‑subjects studies is a plus Experience in conducting in‑person user studies is a plus Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with relevant experience (e.g., engineering, computer science, psychology, human factors, human‑computer interaction) #J-18808-Ljbffr
