Catering / Events Assistant
Minnesota Masonic Home
The Minnesota Masonic Heritage Center (MMHC) has three primary components: Ives Auditorium, Ladd Museum, and Evergreen Hall. The MMHC offers venues for theatrical and other performing arts, a museum, library and Masonic Lodge along with public and dining event space. The facility is open to the Masonic Fraternity and the public.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Event duties including setting up tables and chairs, placing china, linens and napkins, operating audio-visual equipment, lifting/setting up podiums, staging and dance floor and event clean up.
- Help maintain cleanliness of event spaces (emptying garbage, vacuuming, food clean up, ect), execute quick room changes, and replenish catered food items.
- Provide bar services during events and auditorium shows.
- Greet and assist clients as needed.
- When necessary, assist with food preparation.
- Ability to engage in continued physical activity including lifting and moving items (up to approximately 35 pounds).
Flexible schedule includes day, evening and weekend hours.
