Forklift Operator

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables: Responsible for the integrity of the inventory control area. Able to work one or two of these 3 primary shipping/receiving functions: All duties associated with the wrapping station, including confirmation of production and accurate scanning to location; Load and ship trucks including all transactions into system; Stock production floor with accurate scanning to and from locations using WMS Maintain raw materials, WIP and final product in organized fashion in accordance with work procedures Ensures that shipping and receiving transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate fashion Operate fork truck in a safe manner moving skids of finished and unfinished products throughout parts of the facility while being cautious and aware of workers, equipment and products Maintain plant’s shipping and receiving logs Ensure paperwork is accurate and complete and meets quality assurance requirements Label incoming freight Skills and Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent. Able to pass a fork truck certification program Personal Attributes: Team player Reliable MUST have good attendance. Ability to complete paperwork / BOL Ability to effect communicate. Additional Job Information: Base starting salary at $20/hr.
