Adult Respiratory Therapist

Job Type: Travel Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years with charge experience preferred License: Active MD or Compact License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT required; NRP preferred Must-Have: - Pediatric/NICU experience preferred - Charting system experience with Epic required - Travel experience required Description: We are seeking a qualified Adult Respiratory Therapist. The primary care setting is adult with the possibility of floating to pediatric or NICU settings. Shifts will be three 12-hour night shifts. Holidays are required as scheduled. Floating to support all departments will be required. Pre-scheduled on-call shifts are not required. Candidates must demonstrate experience with adult critical care practices. Skills required include aerosol setups, assist in high-risk deliveries, intubation assistance, and pulmonary hygiene. Other necessary procedures include tracheostomy care and management, arterial blood gas interpretation, and suctioning techniques. Knowledge of pediatric critical care practices is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Travelers are prioritized for float assignments within the scope of practice. Only candidates who meet all requirements will be considered for this position.
