Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry

The Cardiac Telemetry unit specializes in the management of various cardiac conditions, including but not limited to:

• Chest Pain
• NSTEMI/STEMI
• Left/Right Heart Catheterization
• Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
• Cardioversion
• Stress Testing
• Pacemaker Management
• Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI)
• Atrial Fibrillation (Afib)
• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
• Bradycardia
• Automatic Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (AICD) Insertion
• Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT)/Tachycardia

This position requires availability for a rotating weekend schedule, working every other weekend. Night shifts are three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.

There are no on-call requirements for this position.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; first-time travelers are not accepted.
• Full compliance with all requirements is necessary to ensure timely start.

The traveler is expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period. If two major holidays occur, working both is required. Three holidays will necessitate working two holidays. The major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Number of non-billable orientation hours will be determined by the length of the contract (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).

Travelers may be required to float within facility/scope of practice as needed. Locals are accepted at the same rate.
