CNA / ED Tech

CNA / ED Tech Emergency Department (Per Diem Nights)

We are currently seeking an experienced CNA/ED Tech to work per diem night shifts in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Chicago. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have prior ED experience and are looking for flexible scheduling with competitive hourly pay.

Position Details:

• Pay: $25 per hour
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: Per diem / as needed
• Setting: Hospital Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN
• Obtain and document vital signs
• Assist with EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
• Support trauma and critical care patients as needed
• Assist with patient transport and room turnover
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow all hospital policies and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Active CNA certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
• Strong clinical and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-acuity situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
