Growth Opportunities, strong team, stable client base Job Details We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate or Tax Manager for our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity to progress into a managerial role. The successful candidate will have a solid background in small business tax experience or S&C corporate tax returns and individual tax, and will have the opportunity to learn from the Partners directly. Salary range: $120k - $130k depending on experience. Fully in office Roseville, CA. Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and non‑profit organizations. Provide expert tax planning services to high net worth individuals and corporate clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws. Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Proactively identify and implement tax‑saving strategies for clients. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accurate and timely filing of tax returns. Keep up‑to‑date with the latest tax laws and regulations, ensuring that the company's tax policies and procedures are in compliance. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior staff members in the tax department. Assist with tax audits and resolve any tax‑related issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. EA or CPA certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience from a boutique CPA, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry. Extensive knowledge and experience with QuickBooks, tax returns, tax planning, Federal & State tax, S & C Corporations, Income Tax, and high net worth clients. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
