This position offers a stable weekday schedule and the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary psychiatric care team serving an inpatient population. The ideal candidate will be a Connecticut-licensed Nurse Practitioner with experience providing medical oversight in a behavioral health setting and conducting comprehensive physical examinations for psychiatric patients. Compensation: $100 Per Hour Position Details Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Schedule: Full-Time Practice Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health Facility Facility Size: 56-bed inpatient unit Clinical Responsibilities Provide medical oversight and support for psychiatric inpatients Conduct admission and annual physical examinations Evaluate and manage common medical conditions in the behavioral health population Order and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Monitor patients for medical concerns and coordinate specialty referrals when needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations Patient Volume Average of 10–12 patients per day Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner license required Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferredaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
