Multi-Modality CT Technologist - Bonus up to $20k

Williamsburg, Virginia. Hiring range: $36.50 - $50.23 per hour. Actual pay determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. Up to $20,000 sign‑on bonus available over the course of your first2years with Riverside. Overview The Multi‑Modality CT Technologist in a hospital setting is responsible for performing CT and diagnostic exams on patients as requested by the referring physicians. Works in accordance with RHS policy and procedures, prepares patients and explains exam procedures, addresses patient questions and concerns, handles IV insertions and contrast injections, and completes all technical documentation. Responsibilities Assists radiologists in performing CT imaging procedures. Selects proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provides clinical documentation per scope of practice. Performs with a high degree of safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of policies, procedures, protocols using safety behaviors. Prepares equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care. Follows ALARA principles according to policy. Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Reports variances. Coordinates patient care and performs effective assessment, actions, and documentation. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non‑interruption of services. Detail‑oriented, able to multi‑task, organized and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications CT experience (preferred). Certified Radiologic Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R) Upon hire (required). Certified Radiologic Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) Upon hire (required). CPR/BLS Certification – American Heart Association/ American Red Cross/ American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon hire (required).
