APRN/PA Hospitalist- Full Time or Part Time

Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

Mt. Ascutney Hospital is seeking a part-time advanced practice provider (APRN or PA) with prior hospital medicine or critical care medicine background to join our Hospital Medicine Team! This is a daytime position whose primary responsibilities include independently rounding on acute/swing patients, managing ED admissions, and responding to medical emergencies. We are looking for applicants who have interest and experience in rural healthcare and who are able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting. The successful candidate will join a team of engaged physicians and advanced practice providers who are focused on delivering excellent inpatient care to an underserved rural community. We do not have an ICU or step-down unit, and procedures or ventilation management is not required. Providers must maintain ACLS credentialing. This position offers flexible shift work that allows for improved work-life balance. Mt. Ascutney Hospital is a critical access hospital located in Windsor, Vermont and a member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System. Mt. Ascutney Hospital features 25 inpatient medical-surgical beds and a renowned 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.
