Ultrasound Sonographer

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 3+ years of experience to provide diagnostic imaging services in a hospital radiology department. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Graduate of an accredited AMA school Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) BLS certification required State license required if applicable No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Responsibilities Perform ultrasound imaging for both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols Monday through Friday shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Call requirement of approximately 1-2 times per week 13-week assignment Perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms Proficient in scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years RTO requests must be less than 1 week Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible First-time travelers may be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-751366 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
