Registered Nurse - ICU

The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for providing critical care to patients with severe and complex health conditions. The role requires continuous monitoring and assessment of patient status. It involves administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential for optimal patient outcomes. The nurse must demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Effective communication with patients and families is also a key component of the position. This role may require floating to different units based on census and staffing needs. All responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with established protocols and procedures. Candidates must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and be prepared to handle emergencies.
