Social Scientist

To support consumer and regulatory research programs for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the remote Social Scientist will manage day-to-day research activities, contribute to the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities Support and implement social science research tasks of moderate to high technical complexity Conduct data analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of research findings using established methodologies Collaborate with project leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality work products and smooth project execution Required qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting social science research, public health research, regulatory science, or related fields Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Master's degree preferred Specific experience supporting tobacco-related regulatory research Proficiency with statistical and qualitative analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, NVivo, or similar platforms) Active CITI Human Subjects Certification
