Arga Marketing General Manager Job Posting LHH is partnering with a growing agribusiness and manufacturing organization on a search for a General Manager. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing operational performance, profitability, safety, quality, and business growth across multiple operating divisions. The General Manager will serve as the operational leader of the business, driving execution, optimizing performance, and ensuring all functions work together to achieve customer commitments and financial objectives. This role is offering a salary between $120K - $150K + bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple business divisions, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable daily operations.
• Direct production, inventory, logistics, maintenance, and resource planning activities to meet customer demand and operational objectives.
• Establish performance expectations and operational priorities while driving accountability across locations and functional teams.
• Monitor key operational and financial metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Lead safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, improving reliability, and optimizing profitability.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial performance oversight.
• Lead, develop, and mentor managers across operations, sales, procurement, accounting, maintenance, quality, and related functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing, agribusiness, processing, logistics, or other operationally intensive environments.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-functional teams with responsibility for safety, quality, operational performance, and financial results.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasts, capital investments, and operational KPIs.
• Proven ability to improve productivity, efficiency, customer service levels, and overall profitability.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory compliance standards relevant to industrial or manufacturing operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and team development capabilities.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement programs, ERP systems, and agricultural or processing operations is preferred.
