Position Summary Ninety percent of a child's brain development happens before the age of 5, and we're on a mission to help our youngest learners start strong! Join Early Learning Corps as an Early Learning Tutor and you'll spend your days in a pre-kindergarten classroom to help students build skills and confidence. We'll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way! How does it work? Partnering with a teacher, you'll help enhance learning. Whether talking, reading, writing, singing, or playing with students, you'll be helping them to build early literacy and math skills. Core Responsibilities
- Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive
- Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day
- Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach
- Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software
- Commit to your own growth through coaching and training
- Share your experience with the community
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Able to successfully complete a background check
- 37.5 hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)
- Daytime hours (correspond with school start and end times)
- Monday-Friday (no weekends)
- Time off on holidays and school release days

- Up to $5,176.50 for college tuition or student loans (tutors 55+ can transfer this award to a qualified family member)
- Federal student loan forbearance (payment pause) and interest repayment
