Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Brunswick, Georgia. This position involves providing high-acuity care on a tele step-down unit, including post-ICU care, drips, and stable ventilator management. The role requires independent clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment with floating to telehealth and medical-surgical units.

Job Details:

• Location: Brunswick, Georgia
• Schedule: Night shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing; 1 year of clinical experience; able to float to telehealth and medical-surgical units; proficiency with Cerner charting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing stable ventilators and post-ICU patients in high-acuity settings; certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Additional Information: This tele step-down high acuity unit manages patient ratios of 3-4:1 in IMCU and 5-6:1 in Tele-Med/Surgical with PCT assistance. The unit is dynamic and requires clinicians who can work independently in a fast-paced environment. Manager will conduct interviews.
