Position Overview

This position is for a critical care role within a renowned hospital setting located in Bowling Green, KY. The unit specializes in intensive care, providing high-quality patient care in a challenging and rewarding environment.

General Information

• Unit Name: ICU/CCU
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: 2:1, at times 3:1
• Documentation System: Meditech

Unit Staffing Description

The unit is staffed with Medical Technicians (MT) and, depending on patient census, a tech may also be available. Team collaboration and support are emphasized.

Equipment and Procedures

• Type of Equipment: Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Arctic Sun, and Hemodynamic monitoring.
• Advanced Procedures: Central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions.

Scheduling and Policies

• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Floating Policy: Float in rotation with core staffing.
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; denim, capris, and camo are not permitted.

Certifications Required

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• NIH
