Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Winnsboro, Texas location to perform blood collections, prepare specimens, and provide patient care in a clinical laboratory setting. The role includes administrative duties and operates Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–12pm, with potential weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
• Process billing and collect payments; prepare specimens for testing
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical/hospital environment (preferred)
• Experience working with all age groups from pediatric to geriatric (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
