Alphanumeric is hiring a FINANCE MANAGER to work a hybrid schedule in Marietta, PA with our client of 20+ years, a global organization committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.

Pay Range: $51.00–$55.00/hour

Location: Marietta, PA | Hybrid

Position Overview

\n

Reporting to the Site Finance Head , the Finance Manager will support financial planning, reporting, compliance, and control activities for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This position will also serve as a key Finance Business Partner to Engineering, Planning, and Logistics , providing financial guidance related to budgets, forecasts, cost management, capital investments, and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Support site financial processes, reporting, controls, and month-end activities, providing coverage for the Site Finance Head as needed.
\n
• Serve as the primary finance partner for Engineering, Planning, and Logistics , supporting budget development, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost center management.
\n
• Review and oversee completion of the month-end SAP toll process performed by the SMAS Hub.
\n
• Prepare product costing and cost estimates for new products using standard toll-manufacturing costing methodologies.
\n
• Maintain the fixed asset ledger and support the financial closure of Assets Under Construction (AUC) projects.
\n
• Provide financial analysis and support for site projects, including capital investment initiatives .
\n
• Support preparation of the Annual Plan , including OPEX, recoveries, and standard product costing.
\n
• Prepare and review intercompany transactions for accuracy and compliance.
\n
• Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to site and company requirements.
\n
• Partner with local, regional, and global teams on financial reporting, issue resolution, and process implementation.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and/or general ledger accounting .
\n
• Experience supporting finance within a manufacturing, operational, or similarly complex environment .
\n
• Experience with SAP or another enterprise ERP system for financial transactions and reporting.
\n
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, along with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
\n
• Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, variance analysis, product costing, and cost management .
\n
• Knowledge of fixed assets, capital project accounting, and Assets Under Construction (AUC) processes.
\n
• Working knowledge of internal controls, financial compliance requirements, and accurate transaction recording.
\n
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Operations, and site leadership is highly desirable.
\n
• Working knowledge of Pennsylvania Sales & Use Tax compliance .
\n
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
\n
• CPA or CMA preferred, but not required.
\n
