Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Raleigh, NC | $100,000–$130,000

I’m working with a long-established Raleigh General Contractor looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its commercial construction team.

This is specifically a commercial construction position — not residential. The successful candidate will have a track record managing commercial projects typically ranging from $1m–$10m and be comfortable taking ownership from preconstruction through closeout.

The contractor delivers both new construction and remodelling work across sectors including office, retail, hospitality, medical and industrial , with a strong emphasis on long-term client and trade relationships.

What they’re looking for

• 5+ years' commercial construction experience
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
• Projects typically in the $1m–$10m range
• Strong commercial project experience is essential
• Able to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, clients and project teams
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Good employment tenure – they are looking for someone who has demonstrated stability rather than regularly moving between contractors
• Raleigh/Triangle experience would be advantageous but isn't essential

Package

$100,000–$130,000 , depending on experience.

This would suit an established Commercial Project Manager or potentially a strong Assistant PM who has already taken significant ownership of commercial projects and is ready for the next step.
