Growing together.We seek a Pharmacy Technician & Delivery Driver to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, making deliveries to and from the pharmacy, clinics, and resident homes, as well as performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.Work: 60% Pharmacy Technician work during the morning. 40% pharmacy deliveries in the afternoons.Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm EST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm EST (may need to work later depending on business needs)Location: 3057 Freedom Drive, Room 116, Charlotte, NC 28208Primary Responsibilities:Pharmacy Technician Duties: Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staffFills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacistOrders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy suppliesReceives and processes medication ordersVerifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsWorks with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clerical duties relating to the departmentCommunicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skillsOther duties as assignedPharmacy Delivery Driver Duties: Load vehicles with medications/products for deliveryProvide timely and accurate completion of deliveries in an efficient and courteous mannerVerify receipt and provide signature for receipt of items deliveredProcess any required paperwork according to established proceduresShred paperwork for disposalAssist in maintaining a clean pharmacy environment by performing various housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and disposing of trashStock vialsStock bingo cards/bubble packsLight computer data entryVarious other duties may be assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
