Seeking a structured and patient Male Piano Instructor, this part-time remote position will conduct 1-on-1 lessons for a beginner student, focusing on foundational techniques and basic music theory. Key Responsibilities Teach foundational piano techniques, including correct finger positioning, posture, and scale exercises Guide the student through reading sheet music, understanding time signatures, rhythms, and basic chord structures Plan sequential lessons that match the student's learning pace, assigning weekly practice pieces and exercises Required Qualifications Formal grade certification from a recognized board (like Trinity College London or ABRSM Grade 3 to 5) preferred Strong practical command of the instrument, with experience as a self-taught musician or church pianist welcomed Excellent patience and communication skills to simplify complex musical concepts for beginners Strong commitment to the scheduled hourly slots
