Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Production Associate for a company in Waverly, IA. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.
Production Associate Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Manually pick ingredients for customer orders and accurately weigh product to required specifications
- Palletize ingredients for each order and transport materials to the workstation using a pallet jack
- Pour ingredients into blending and filling equipment for processing and bagging
- Palletize finished bags of product weighing up to 50 pounds at chest height
- Clean and sanitize the workstation using a portable hose with soap and water
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures at all times
Production Associate Requirements:
Forklift experience Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift Minimum of 6 months of previous production or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to speak, read, and write basic English Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team-oriented environment
