Description:

Under the general supervision of the Collaboration and Project Management Supervisor, this position performs a wide variety of entry level professional purchasing duties for the Department of Corrections (DOC). This position serves all of the Divisions in DOC, 11,000 employees

This position is part of the DOC team that conducts procurement activities, including creation of requisitions, Purchase Order management, and invoice receipting for information technology (IT) products. This position creates simplified bids for all IT products . This position supports P-Card reconciliation as needed. This position is also responsible for IT related journal vouchers.

This position monitors and responds to purchasing ticket requests and responds to questions related to purchasing programs and interpreting purchasing rules and regulations.
