Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Oakland, MD! This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II

Location: Oakland, MD 21550

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $18-20/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and safely.
• Draw specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients .
• Perform approximately 35 patient draws per day .
• Process and prepare specimens according to established procedures.
• Accurately label, handle, and maintain specimen integrity.
• Verify patient information and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a professional, comfortable patient experience.
• Follow all established safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
• Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Experience with:
• Pediatric collections
• Geriatric collections
• Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 20-25 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
