Responsibilities Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network. Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution. Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services. Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon sponsored events. Attend to retail customers to sell products and resolve customer issues, consistently providing the best omni‑channel experience. Leverage and utilize digital tools to simplify the customer experience, drive touchless and self‑service tools. Coordinate sales promotions and participate in their development and assessment. Assist customers with high‑price items and coach sales staff in product presentation. Identify process improvements in retail merchandising, inventory, and systems. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve sales‑related problems. Provide information on product features, benefits, and financing options. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you will receive your schedule four weeks in advance). Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a commission‑based environment. Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions. Customer service experience. Compensation and Benefits Base pay $16.00 to $21.00 per hour plus up to $18,000 per year in individual‑based commissions if sales goals are met. Potential to earn additional commissions; top performers could make an extra $14,500 or more in commissions for a total of $65,000+ to $75,500+ annually. Bilingual speakers in eligible locations may receive an extra $3,000 annually on top of their base pay and commission after passing a language assessment.
