Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, including circulating and monitoring responsibilities
• Scrub procedures as needed in support of cath lab operations
• Precept staff as needed based on unit requirements
• Float across multiple Des Moines campuses to like units as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation, including call-back response as required
• Expected to work 1-2 winter holidays unless the unit is closed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab / CCL experience
• Circulating and monitoring experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Structural heart experience highly preferred
• EP (Electrophysiology) experience highly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
