【Regarding salary, we can only pay USD via international wire transfer to the teacher's bank account. We cannot pay RMB.】

Job Information:
1.Peak class time: BJT weekday 5-9pm, weekend 1-9pm
You can open up your available slot, students will book your time. Long-term student(32 weeks), fixed schedule
2.Salary: RMB 150/class, 45min
3.Class size: 1V1
4.Students age range: 6-10 years old
5.Online teaching platform: Classin
You need to have good PC computer configuration with good Internet connection

Teacher’s Responsibilities:
Teach Picture Book Reading (books provided by us) to one student for 45 minutes and then write class feedback.
1.Do close-reading of the book with the student. Introduce vocabulary if necessary, and ask questions to check if the student has understood the meaning of the story or the text.
2.Use the Reading Notes(designed by us) to lead the student to organize the content in the book. The Reading Notes are also useful to teach the student basic literary elements.
3.Have a more in-depth discussion with the kid, inspiring him/her to think further.

Job requirement:
1. Native English speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa
2. Bachelor's degree or above
3. TEFL,TESOL or CELTA certificate holder
4. Experienced in picture book reading teaching
5. Energetic, humorous, good at leading and guiding students

About Online Picture Book Reading 1v1 class
It is designed for beginning readers to improve reading ability through regular, well-organized guided reading sessions with experienced teachers. Each students will be placed to one of the five reading levels (from AR 1.0-3.9) and assigned a 32-book reading list to finish.

This is not a simple READ ALOUD class or free-talking speaking class, but a GUIDED READING class. All the questions asked during the guided reading session should point to deepening student's understanding of the text, the structure of the story, or the themes of the book.
