Registered Nurse

The role involves providing care in an emergency department setting. ER nurses are expected to work three 12-hour night shifts each week. Weekends are required every other week. Candidates must have experience managing common emergency conditions and procedures. The required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Charting experience is necessary, and familiarity with the Cerner system is preferred. In this position, nurses will encounter a wide range of patient situations including trauma, respiratory issues, and mental health crises. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple critical patients effectively. Specialized skills such as intubation and management of ventilated patients are essential. Nurses will need to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary support team. This role requires strong communication and clinical assessment skills. Compliance with all safety protocols and patient care standards is mandatory. The emergency department typically sees a daily census of 135-145 patients. Nurses will be expected to engage in triage and effective patient management. Previous charge experience is beneficial for this role.
