Senior Contracts Specialist

Job Descriptions:

The Senior Contracts Specialist will manage a variety of complex contracts and subcontracts, collaborate with leadership, business development, finance, and program management to ensure contractual compliance, minimize risk, and support company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the administration of a variety of contract types, including commercial, public sector, international, and federal government contracts from proposal support through contract closeout.

• Review and administer prime contracts and related contractual agreements.

• Support proposal development, contract negotiations, modifications, and customer communications.

• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and government regulations.

• Support DCAA, DCMA, and other government audits and reviews.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of contract management practices and tools.

Required Experience:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.

• 6–10 years of progressive government contracts management experience.

• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, SBA, and federal contracting regulations.

• Experience with a variety of government contract types, including FFP, Cost-Reimbursement, T&M, IDIQ, Phase III, GWAC, and GSA Schedule contracts.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.

• CPCM, CFCM, or similar professional certification.

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

• Experience supporting DoW, NASA, DOE, or other federal agencies.

• Huntsville-area government contracting experience.
