Mental Health Clinician

Mental Health ProfessionalShift: 4:00 PM-12:00 AM.Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field. New York State License in Social Work, License in Mental Health Counseling, or licensure in Psychology.Conduct mental health evaluations, assessments, crisis intervention, and follow-up care. Determine and coordinate appropriate mental health treatment and patient disposition. Provide discharge planning in coordination with Reentry Social Workers. Develop and lead mental health treatment groups. Participate in case conferences, treatment planning, and mental health/medical rounds. Coordinate patient care with other institutional programs and the Department of Correction. Complete clinical documentation and required reports. Participate in weekly clinical supervision.
