Advanced Care Hospital of Montana in Billings, Montana is a freestanding critical care and inpatient rehabilitation hospital providing advanced interdisciplinary care to patients with critical, complex, and recovery-focused medical needs. As the region's leading specialty hospital, we care for individuals who have survived serious illness, trauma, or surgery but require extended recovery time and a higher level of medical attention than typically provided in a traditional hospital setting. Our dual mission includes both long-term acute care and comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation. We offer specialized services such as ventilator weaning and respiratory therapy, cardiac monitoring and recovery, complex wound and infection treatment, and intensive rehabilitation for patients regaining strength, mobility, and independence after prolonged ICU stays. Our rehabilitation program includes Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), tailored to each patient's unique goals for recovery. With all private rooms and a highly skilled team-including physicians, ICU/critical care nurses and respiratory therapists, -we deliver individualized, compassionate care that supports both medical stability and functional progress. What you bring:

• A passion for providing patient care, strong clinical skills, and a strong collaborator with Physicians and Therapists.

• Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current State Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. The role is also responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered life style. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
