Make a difference in the educational journey of students by providing expert support as a Physical Therapist in a welcoming school setting. This opportunity allows you to use your clinical skills for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting one school site and offering a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification with the BACB
- Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Experience working in school environments is highly desirable
- Ability to conduct comprehensive skills and functional behavior assessments
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough skills and functional behavior assessments for students using diverse, appropriate models
- Develop and implement treatment recommendations that adhere to BACB ethical standards
- Work closely with educators and specialists to develop individualized plans for students
- Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to school personnel and parents as needed
- Monitor student progress, update goals, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and professional requirements
