Position: Sales Executive for the world's greatest veterinary Practice Management Solution (Shepherd). Your Mission: Become the link between our innovative software and the veterinary practices that need it. Use your experience and passion for the veterinary field to communicate how Shepherd will dramatically improve the lives of our users (veterinarians and their teams), enabling them to take home more stories and less stress. What you will do: * Understand and confidently represent our products, driving sales and meeting targets by cultivating strong connections with sales leads. * Understand each veterinary practice's needs and tailor demos accordingly to showcase the values of Shepherd and align them to their needs. * Close opportunities by managing the sales process and internal team members to move qualified prospects through the sales cycle to closing * Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and team events to keep the Shepherd flag flying high through face-to-face interactions with our target market. * Mentor and support junior Product Advisors, sharing best practices and helping elevate the broader sales team. * Cross-functional collaboration on projects and initiatives with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success * Contribute to the evolution of sales processes, playbooks, and enablement materials. What we are looking for: * Minimum of 3 years of experience working in practice at a Veterinary clinic or hospital at leadership level * Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in veterinary medicine * Willingness to travel ~25% of the time for events * A clear and concise communication style with the ability to provide solutions based on the audience.
