Step into a meaningful role supporting a medically fragile middle school student as a one-on-one registered nurse in a vibrant educational setting near Easton, MD. You’ll work onsite, 35-37 hours per week, supporting a student who requires both gtube and trach care. Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Maryland
• Demonstrated experience working with tracheostomies and gastrostomy tubes
• Prior pediatric or school nurse experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond swiftly in emergencies
• Compassionate communicator, adept at engaging students, families, and staff
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile middle school student
• Monitor and manage trach and gtube interventions, ensuring high standards of safety
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to optimize the student’s educational access and wellbeing
• Maintain detailed documentation of all care activities and communication
• Respond promptly to all emergencies, delivering calm and effective first aid or interventions as needed
• Educate and support school staff as appropriate regarding student health needs
