Scheduling ManagerDevelopmental Options is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive care and services to individuals with developmental delays. Our mission is to empower those we serve by fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life.The Scheduling Manager is responsible for ensuring adequate and appropriate staffing levels are maintained within the ICF/IID program. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining employee schedules, coordinating staffing to meet facility needs, and supporting leadership in a variety of operational and administrative tasks. This position may work on the floor to provide direct support during staffing shortages to ensure quality care and minimize overtime.The Scheduling Manager is a full-time, non-exempt, position and may require more than 40 hours per week. The regular work schedule will include variations of regular work hours (Monday through Friday) but may be required to cover some weekend or evening shifts. The hours of work will be determined upon hire. This position will also be on rotation for the ICF/IID On-Call duties.This position will be overseeing the SBGH and McCoy group home locations ONLY.ResponsibilitiesSchedule Planning/Coordination Develop, maintain, and adjust employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts and locations.Serve as the primary point of contact for support trainers for their scheduling questions, changes, overstaffing, and other related concerns during regular work hours.Schedule and manage required staff training.Manage sick and vacation time off requests in accordance with company policies and procedures.Confer/communicate with staff regarding scheduling needs, upcoming changes, and training staff on utilizing company scheduling and communication resources.Monitor employee's attendance, addressing patterns identified to be problematic and follow company disciplinary processes for correction of employee behavior.Direct Program Support Provide hands-on floor support during periods of staffing shortages, ensuring continuity of care and reducing the need for overtime.Administrative Support On-call duties (as assigned) such as the ICF/IID on-call manager phone rotationCollaborate closely with the Human Resources Manager and leadership team to support broader operational and workforce initiatives.Maintain confidentiality of employee information and adhere to all organizational and regulatory policies.Other duties as assignedRequirementsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google tools, and other software systems is required, as is the ability to quickly learn and utilize scheduling software.Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends is necessary to support facility operations.Prior experience in working in a residential care setting for adults and children with developmental disabilities.CPR/First aid certification is a plus.21+ with a clean driving recordIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, we invite you to apply today and join our dedicated team at Developmental Options!
