Physician Cardiology - Competitive Salary

Job Description A locum tenens opportunity is available for a cardiology specialist in a well-equipped hospital setting. With a focus on non-invasive cardiology, you'll join a supportive team comprising MDs and APPs. The role includes providing support for interventional and EP services. The schedule involves a one to two-week stint per month with flexibility for weekend and night coverage as needed. Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Hospital- Start Date: ASAP- Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month with weekend and night support as needed- Patient Population: Adult (18)- Location: Chambersburg, PA- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Perform stress testing, TEE, and cardioversions- Read studies such as Echos, Holters, and EKGs- Conduct consultations and manage a daily census of 25-35 patients Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology- Licensed in PA or possess an IMLC LOQ- DEA registration required- ACLS/BLS certifications required; CTA reading preferred Working Hours - Days with weekends and nights as needed Skills - Proficient in EPIC EMR- Ability to perform and interpret various cardiac diagnostic procedures- Strong communication and teamwork skills
