Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse and production operations at a leading manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for accurate material movement, inventory transactions, and maintaining an organized, safe work environment while supporting production schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct material transactions based on production schedules and ERP system signals  
• Pull, issue, and transfer parts within the ERP system (training provided)  
• Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job travelers, and sales orders  
• Operate and become certified on various forklifts and material-handling equipment  
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy  
• Clean, organize, and restock warehouse and production areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.  

Requirements:  

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous material handling experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read instructions and visually inspect materials and parts  
• Strong attention to detail with accurate and timely work performance  
• Effective communication skills and ability to multitask  
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend directives written in English  
• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified  
• Ability to lift and/or carry or move weight up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, standing, bending, and reaching required.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Compensation:

• $20.00 per hour
