Radar Modeling and Simulation Analyst – Job Number R0243235 Opportunity Your engineering skills and determination are needed to develop cutting‑edge technology that supports the warfighter and national security. In this role you will break down the Air Force’s toughest challenges, model foreign‑threat radar, antennas, weapons, and communications systems, and perform detailed analyses to evaluate detectability and survivability of future combat systems. Responsibilities Develop radar and antenna models for classified DoD analyses. Write and refine radar signal‑processing code in MATLAB, C++, Fortran, and Simulink. Model and simulate future weapon and platform concepts. Perform detectability and survivability analyses of airborne systems. Provide technical support to determine tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve mission effectiveness. Qualifications – Must Have 2+ years of coding experience in MATLAB, C++, or Fortran. 2+ years of experience with computational electromagnetic software such as FEKO. Knowledge of radar principles for antennas, signal processing, and track filters. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. Qualifications – Nice to Have Experience with engineering and mathematics. Experience with modeling and simulation. Experience with Linux. Knowledge of U.S. and foreign combat weapon systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. TS/SCI clearance. Master’s degree in a related field. Clearance Applicants must meet eligibility for a Secret clearance. TS/SCI clearance is desired but not required. Compensation Salary range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 annually (USD).
