Manual Machinist

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Manual Machinist positions in Mount Prospect, IL. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual machining equipment to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, composite, and rubber materials according to specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications to determine machine setup, machining sequence, and finished product dimensions.

• Inspect and measure finished workpieces using precision measuring tools, ensure quality standards are met, and report any discrepancies to Quality Control.

• Troubleshoot and adjust machine operations by modifying feeds, speeds, tooling, and machine settings while identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or technical school certification, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years of machining experience.

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
