Charge Nurse (RN) Job Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a Compact State
- Prefer at least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing staff while providing exceptional resident care
Charge Nurse (RN) Job Duties
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned day shift
- Coordinate resident care and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure quality resident care and compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Follow all facility policies and procedures
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Assist with staffing assignments and provide guidance to nursing staff
- Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional manner
- Other duties as assigned
