Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Washington Assignment Duration: This is a 13‑week contract position. Schedule: Shift 12 Hour Day, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours. Job Description The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive respiratory care in a Short Term Acute Care setting. Responsibilities will include ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and troubleshooting high‑pressure alarms among other critical care tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with various patient age groups and handling complex respiratory issues. Responsibilities Administer and manage respiratory therapies and procedures. Conduct assessments and monitor patients’ respiratory function. Provide education to patients and their families regarding respiratory therapies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Utilize Epic for charting and documentation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of previous charge experience preferred. Valid Washington RN license required at the time of submission. ACLS, BLS, NRP (preferred), and PALS certifications required.
