Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health to join our team. This role focuses on providing quality care to adults in a behavioral health setting, ensuring their safety and well-being while facilitating mental health support and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient behavioral health nursing care to adult patients.
• Monitor patient behavior and mental state, assisting in the development of treatment plans.
• Administer medications and document vital signs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in therapeutic communication with patients to support their mental health journey.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Nevada.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within designated time frames after start date.
• Minimum of one year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.
