Accounting Specialist

We are working exclusively with a growing multi-site organization to place a detail-oriented, service-minded Accounting Specialist on their accounting team. This is a high-volume, fast-paced opportunity that's a great fit for someone who takes pride in accuracy, thrives in a busy environment, and genuinely enjoys collaborating with people across a business.

What the role involves

• Processing and approving a high volume of invoices and bills across multiple locations
• Managing employee expense reports and corporate credit card reconciliations
• Handling employee reimbursements and day-to-day accounts payable activity
• Acting as a resource for internal teams with accounting questions
• Supporting the accounting manager with month-end tasks and operational reporting

What our client is looking for

• A solid grasp of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, general ledger fundamentals)
• A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
• A collaborative, humble, and service-oriented mindset — this role partners closely with non-accounting staff
• Comfort learning new systems; prior NetSuite experience is a plus but not expected
• Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is helpful
