DentalWe're looking for a Dental Assistant professional who will work closely with our Dentist.Our commitment is in everything we do.Smile Brands is strongly rooted in encouraging and empowering people to branch out beyond their comfort zones.We believe in individual journeys of personal and professional discovery in an environment where people feel safe, supported, welcomed and seen.Schedule (days/hours): Monday-Friday 8am-5pm-new DA we can train-Hygiene AssistantResponsibilitiesPrepare treatment rooms and equipment before and after patient appointments.Assist dental hygienists during preventive dental procedures.Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.Perform sterilization and infection-control procedures in accordance with state and facility guidelines.Seat and prepare patients for treatment and provide courteous patient service.Take and record patient information, medical history, and treatment notes as directed.Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.Assist with dental radiographs when properly trained and authorized.Clean and disinfect treatment areas and equipment.Monitor inventory and notify the appropriate staff when supplies need to be reordered.Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and workplace safety requirements.Communicate professionally with patients, dental staff, and other healthcare professionals.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust have certs to be hired:cpr or blsx-ray licensewilling to train if no experienceCompensation: $18-$22/hrAbout UsBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off ("PTO"), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
