Contract | 13 Weeks | Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM | 6 Days On / 8 Days Off | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Weekends Included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all floors and departments within a 39-bed acute care hospital, including critical care, neonatal, and general respiratory care
• Operate and manage equipment including ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and infant nasal CPAP
• Assess and treat patients across all age groups, with common diagnoses including asthma, COPD, and premature infants
• Document patient care accurately using the Medhost EHR system
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS

Required Qualifications

• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current and valid BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated experience in critical care, neonatal, and general respiratory therapy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating diverse patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric/neonatal patients
• Familiarity with Medhost or similar EHR platforms
• Outgoing, friendly personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center or similarly designated acute care setting
