Procedural Scheduler

Description

Under the general guidance of the Supervisor and Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, the Procedural Scheduler is tasked with executing a range of clinical receptionist duties. Working with minimal oversight, the Procedural Scheduler plays a crucial role in interacting with patients, physicians, medical office personnel, and medical center staff, always ensuring prompt and courteous service.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Medical terminology certification
• 6 months Experience in a medical and/or Customer service position.
• Customer service experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Admitting, insurance eligibility and verification experience.
• 1 year Experience scheduling radiographic procedures.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
