Service Writer

As a Service Writer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Service department by coordinating work flow, supporting customers, and representing the company’s brand. Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of work through the Service department, including customer, warranty, and internal work orders
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by answering phone calls and emails, and providing timely updates on service work
• Write and process work orders for service and warranty repairs based on information from Service Technicians
• Assist the Service Manager with scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning work activities based on personnel skills and workload
• Drive Service department sales by delivering superior customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Gather and communicate product information to accurately determine and address customer needs
• Handle payment collection and ensure accurate documentation of all service transactions
• Perform various clerical and administrative tasks to support the Service department

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Fundamental computer skills
• Willingness to learn; training will be provided for the right candidate
